Ya ha comenzado una nueva temporada de premios, y de a poco se dan a conocer a los nominados a algunas de las galas más importantes, mientras algunas premiaciones ya se han celebrado.
Los GLAAD Awards anunciaron hoy la lista de sus candidatos, celebrando una vez más la representación y visibilidad de la comunidad LGBTIQ+ en la televisión y en el cine. Una de las más grandes sorpresas es que, más allá de que las plataformas de streaming dominaron por completo las nominaciones (Netflix con 13 y HBO con 8), no son las únicas que se destacan. La televisión abierta da un importante paso adelante con las candidaturas de Amar a Muerte y El Corazón Nunca se Equivoca (spin-off de Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia, ganadora del año pasado) como representantes no sólo de la comunidad latina, sino siendo Juliantina y Aristemo las primeras parejas LGBT en acaparar la atención del público latinoamericano en horario central en el Canal de las Estrellas.
